K.A.C. 2011 - T - 14 ...

     Our K.A.C. mascot Krampus is back again, refusing to stay down ... as a matter of fact, 2011 is rapidly turning into the Year of the Krampus, with a LOT of people and organizations recognizing him! I'm starting to believe an incredible number of people have been naughty this year!

     We begin with the (imaginary) comic to your left, the BEST parody one-off of the most famous cover to DC's original 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' - well done!

     Next (continuing the comics theme) is the long-running web comic by Scott Kurtz, PvP - each December, Santa has had to face-off with the demonic cat Scratch Fury (love that name!), who gets possessed every time he climbs inside a Christmas tree (just go with it ... if you're a cat owner, you'll understand). This year, Santa has forestalled that behavior by nominating Scratch to work for him ... as Krampus! See the results here (and click up to the present day ...)

     As if that weren't enough, I've been bombarded from all sides this week with not one, but TWO separate Krampus stories from my friends (thanks, everybody, for the heads up)! First, a merry musical mistletoe is provided by the Travel Channel's Anthony Bourdain in "A Krampus Carol" ...
