K.A.C. 2025 - T - 16 Days ... [2006]

Welcome back! After our Elf on the Shelf shenanigans yesterday, we're all taking a slight break. Pop culture-wise, 2006 was memorable for the debut of the Nintendo Wii and its motion controls. We had one in our home and it was ... interesting for the elders, but The Boy loved it!

As with the other gaming systems, this one had a number of Christmas themed games, including 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas' - ever wonder what sort of Festive Frolics you could get up to on the Wii? Wonder no more!

Let's take a cue from our Empty Tummy Elf above and turn our attention to our Annual Christmas Food Fails ... there's LOTS of good ideas below for items to bring along for either your forced 'Office Holiday Party' or the equally obstreperous family get-together that is just one decibel away from Total Nuclear Meltdown ... hey, do these 'bananas in cranberry jello stars, topped with almonds and dripping mayonnaise' taste funny to you? I mean, they've only been out a couple of hours ..." believe us when we say that's NOT the worst Santa Stomach-Churner you're about to see. Bon appétit!

OK, so the food didn't work out and everybody's feeling a bit queasy. Let's just all have a seat and think back to all the good ... what? What do you mean 'oh, yeah, let me TELL YOU about the time ...'? Before you do, take a deep breath and ask youself, "Is it TRULY worse than what THESE poor people went through on Christmas?" We're quite partial to # 13 ourselves ... oh, and also, READ THE COMMENTS!
